National Asian Pacific American Heritage Month is underway, with an exciting schedule of events in Los Angeles.  On May 15, there is a Concert and Community Celebration in downtown LA at Ebanos Crossing, hosted by Asian Americans Advancing Justice - LA.

The concert features artists from Los Angeles, Boston, and Austin, including Awaaz Do, Atash, Elephants with Guns, Bitter Party, The Other Deepak, Michael Singh, Neel Agrawal, and DJ Om.  The concert is produced by Neel Agrawal, a versatile multi-percussionist who performs with bands around the country.

This unique concert is the culmination of a series of public programs and workshops during the month of May, hosted by Asian Americans Advancing Justice - LA and LA Law Library, providing assistance to the Asian Pacific American community and raising awareness about its unique social and legal issues.  For more information and to register for these mostly free trainings and classes, please visit the event page.
